But it was such a good deal... (Savings tip)

Savings tip of the day - if you are buying it because its a good deal, you shouldn't be buying it. It is simple. The way to really save is to not spend money on things you don't need.

Yeah, I buy stuff in this category too. But less so when I remind myself that I save even more if I don't buy it.

    Isn't that the best tip??? There really isn't a deal that is all that good! And, knowing the difference between need & want is sure the best way to decide if it's a deal or not.

    Yuppers, and yes I continually work on it! But I think its finally getting through.. But I do NEED a new set of dishes.. *grins*

    Yep, that sums it up. I have been thinking about that with the idea of buying a laptop for school. But I have realize that will definately come in handy especially on my part-time job. I am there 8 hours saturday and Sunday...and I can only review my notes so many times, but if I had access to a computer I could've pratice and completed my lab assignments and at least i can practive on my lunch breaks as well on the full time job
