Tuesday's Gas Out

Well I didn't buy gas. Did you?



Oh for the record I wasn't participating in the gasout. I just didn't need to fill the tank. And in the pouring rain I was hardly going to go out and fill the tank and get soaked just to make some anti protest protest.

So what did you end up doing gas wise?

I bet you smart ones rode, walked or took transit to work!

    I didn't buy gas because I didn't need to. Gas outs are just silly, they don't accomplish anything.

    I didn't need gas either but like one commentator said, we may not buy gas for one day but it's not something people will do without on a long term basis...

    I didn't buy gas either, but mainly because I had the day off. It was primary day and our work place is the voting center so we got paid for not going to work!

    I did notice when I went out yesterday, that the gas stations looked a little scarce. I haven't seen anything in the news, but then I really don't pay too much attention.

    My nephew, a high school senior, rode his bike to school instead of driving. I was very concerned because it was a trip of several miles on a dangerous, busy highway that has a lot of traffic coming on and off it from a zillion roads and driveways, and accidents occur frequently.

    The idea of a gas-out seems silly to me too.
