Bought Crappy Food Tonight

I don't know what got into me tonight.

Oh hang on. Yes I do know what got into me.




Calories and spending that is not getting me to my goals. Sigh.

I think, now I am trying to analyse it is that I didn't eat enough at lunch, and I didn't have a snack in the afternoon. So I stopped on the way home and again for slice of pizza after I did my civic duty tonight. I was hungry.

I'll bring bigger lunch tomorrow and see what that does to my willpower.

    I couldn't help it. Yesterday, Hubby wanted to go to the mall for a bit. He parked by the really yummy Chinese food place there. I was getting really hungry. Hadn't eaten enough for lunch. I couldn't help it...I bought dinner and had the leftovers for lunch today. Not frugal at all. But I know how you feel!

    Let by-gones be by-gones and bring a bigger lunch tomorrow. No need to worry about what can't be changed. I always bring my lunch, but if I don't pack enough it can be really hard to muster up the will-power to not buy something. Do you have a ridge at work? Maybe you can stash a 6-pack of yogurt in there, along with some carrot sticks or what-not...

    If I dont take a big enough snack to school with me to snack on between classes I end up spending WAY too much on campus, so I know how you feel. It happens. I wouldn't let it bring ya down! Besides, no one could have less will power than moi Smile

    I find the same thing. I need to eat a big enough lunch (or have an early afternoon snack) or I'm tempted to go through the drive thru on the way home.

    if i don't come prepared with breakfast, lunch, and a snack i'm out the door foraging for food! i actually leave a note on my computer "Tina is Out Foraging"!

    something that tides me over really well is a cup of yogurt with a handful of crushed walnut pieces and a handful of crusched graham crackers. (needless to say you might have to eat some of the yogurt first for everthing else to fit in the cup) yummy and crunchy and almost like cheesecake! MMMMMMMMMmmmmm!
