Tried to get a new debit card

My debit card is dying through overuse. I was in the branch today to take money out of the machine and attempted to get a new bank card.

Well I just learnt you need picture ID to do that and I happened not to have picture ID on me. The card worked in the machine but one day I'm going to be sadly without money as the card isn't going to last much longer!

    I had to get a new card once at my old bank for the same reason....magnetic strip was on its last legs. When they sent it to me,they canceled my old pin and re-issued a new pin. When I wanted to reset it to the old,the clerk told me I couldn't use that pin anymore. HMMM, at that point, I realized I didn't need THEM any more and went to the credit union across the street. There were other reasons I wasn't happy with them. The card thing was just the last straw.
