too much information, but thanks...

February 16th, 2008 at 09:02 am

A classic example of too much information is the management of my building announcing a few minutes ago that there is no fire emergency and to stay in our apartments.

Had they kept quiet i'd have slept through it and not had to know that I didn't need to worry.

The added announcment about the blue van was just confusing (they said the fire department was going to tow it)

I used to work in the basement of a facility that always neglected to tell us undergrounders when there WAS a fire alarm! They'd set off the alarms upstairs, but we couldn't hear them. Thank goodness there was never any fire.

Now that's scary.. i'm sure the fire marshal would have loved to know about that..

Weird thing is if the fire alarm did go off I didn't hear it - just the announcements.
